Announcement of Newly Licensed Architect /Interior DesignerJune 24, 2009 The McKinney Partnership Architects, a full service architectural firm providing architecture, interiors and planning, has announced that Mike Bruehl, AIA, Associate, has passed the Architectural Registration Examination (ARE). The examination, prepared by the National Council of Architectural Registration Board (NCARB), formally licenses architects. Each candidate for licensure must obtain a passing score in all nine divisions of the ARE.
 Bruehl has been with The McKinney Partnership Architects since 2003 and currently functions as project architect for various commercial projects. He earned a bachelors degree of architecture from the University of Oklahoma.

Announcement of LEED Accredited ProfessionalJune 15, 2009 The McKinney Partnership Architects, a full service architectural firm providing architecture, interiors and planning, have announced that Ann Contie Benson, AIA, Director, has been certified as a Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design Accredited Professional (LEED AP) by the U.S. Green Building Council (USGBC). This professional certificate recognizes individuals with extensive knowledge and a thorough understanding of green building practices and principles as well as a familiarity with LEED requirements, resources and processes. LEED is the nationally accepted benchmark for the design, construction and operation of high-performance green buildings. |
