Legacy Park
Legacy Park was planned as the focal point for a master-planned mixed-use development in Norman. The McKinney Partnership Architects joined with a Howard-Fairbairn Landscape Architects to design one of the premier public amenities in Oklahoma. The central feature of the park includes an open-air amphitheater for the performing arts that overlooks a two-acre pond with an impressive array of choreographed fountains and lights. The entire park is connected to the city-wide Legacy Trail which links all areas of Norman via this master planned bicycle pathway.
This project received the People’s Choice Award in 2018 from the Central Oklahoma Chapter of the American Institute of Architects.
