Pier 1 Imports

The McKinney Partnership was selected to create a new national prototype design for Pier 1 that is currently being unveiled throughout the US and Canada. In addition to designing the new prototype, TMP has provided full architectural services for the new stores. The design includes sustainable bamboo entry doors with hand-crafted iron pulls, bamboo awnings, a dramatic central ceiling element with bamboo beams, enhanced store lighting, and more. 

The new design concept allows for easier navigation through the store yet maintains the ‘treasure hunt’ atmosphere that has always made Pier 1 Imports a great place for browsing and discovering.
